I want to share good news with you: AIM has selected the Racial Equity Fund award recipients!
We are so excited to share the names of the seven Racial Equity Fund recipients chosen for our Spring 2022 Cohort, out of many outstanding applications:
- Chestnut Street Granola
- Dragonspunk GRO
- Mac’d With Love
- Pound Bizness
- Raised Roots
- Shao Shan Farm
- The Lemonade Bar
Three of the above, Chestnut Street Granola, Pound Bizness, and Raised Roots are producers at AIM’s Grand Lake Farmers Market.
Congratulations to these amazing farms and small businesses! Each awardee will receive funds to cover 6 months of booth fees, registration fee, mentorship with a seasoned farmers market participant, and a $1,000 stipend. Please keep an eye out for these businesses at the market and try their incredible products.
Looking ahead, we are already planning our second annual Racial Equity Fund campaign. We’ll be holding an online fundraiser this August to raise another $20,000 for BIPOC producers getting started at the market. If you have any ideas you’d like to share with us, or would like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you!
Thank you again for making this work possible.
See you at the market!
