Rated by many the best in the East Bay, the Grand Lake Farmers Market has become a Saturday morning institution.

The Saturday Grand Lake Farmers Market is directly across from the Grand Lake Theatre. Year-round hours are 9 AM to 2 PM. We highly recommend AC Transit, walking or biking. If you must drive, metered parking is generally available in the parking lot under the freeway for $2 per hour. Some additional free parking is available across Grand Avenue in the Family, School and Community Partnerships Office parking lot.

The market regularly features entertainment on at least one “stage” and nearly 100 vendors offer produce, prepared foods and arts and crafts. It is one of seven markets managed by the Agricultural Institute of Marin–a non-profit agency enabling growers to sell certified, farm-fresh produce directly to consumers. The Grand Lake Market manager, Chris Blackburn, can be generally found in the Information Booth at the Saturday market. Alternatively, phone 800 897-FARM or email chris@agriculturalinstitute.org. Applications for vendors and entertainers are available on the AIM website.
